Undoubtedly, one of the best beaches on the coast. Most of the beach is sandy, while about a third is covered with small pebbles. Agree, not a very common option. Very clean, clear water. A lot of small fishes right at the shore. Children will appreciate the attraction of feeding fish from their hands. The beach is very well protected, so we’ve never seen big waves here. There is an excellent fenced-in volleyball court and a petanque playground at the beach. In summer months, a marvelous magic happens – a public library is open at the beach. All this miracle is adjacent to the picturesque rocks. Right above the beach there’s a castle. If you are a selfie lover a wonderful series of postcards can be shot here – a sandy beach, pebble, Cannes, the castle, and Theoule views. Of course there is also a paid private part of the beach with sun loungers and a restaurant. You can climb a very picturesque, short path in the rocks over the beach and go to the nearby beach – plage de la Raguette. You can park at two parking spaces above. Then cross the bridge over the railway tracks and go down to the beach. The entrance to the parking lot is right behind the Mandelieu la Napoule sign. There are a dozen parking spaces each. The alternative is at port de la Rague. We would not recommend parking along the road – quite a dangerous crossing, and the police from time to time actively shows a displeasure from this “wild” parking.
